As part of our energetic team, you'll be zipping around the warehouse with your trusty hand-held scanner, packing customer orders with precision, and sorting shipments to ensure they reach their destinations on time. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Pick items utilizing hand-held scanners.
- Pack customer orders.
- Sort orders to multiple carriers in order to ship them timely and accurately.
- Support team members in the appointed area of department task assignment, including but not limited to baggers, QC, loading docks, stacking boxes, multi-box, tote running, carrier pick up, refill pack station supply.
- Ensure an adequate supply of shipping materials is on hand at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Experience meeting goals.
- With limited supervision, work independently according to departmental workload.
- Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
- Demonstrate reliable attendance.
- Ability to remain calm and demonstrate patience in a fast-paced work environment.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Ability and availability to work extended hours and days during high order volume; especially during PEAK season where long hours are regularly expected.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Maintain flexibility to be trained and work in other departments as needed.
Qualifications
- Requires education generally equivalent to a high school diploma.
