FUN-GI makes games that define genres. With a strategy in easing access to complex mechanics in untouched game categories, we focus on franchises that shift the paradigm for games as brand platforms.
In addition to the development of unannounced titles, we service live operations for House Flip, a top-ranked game in the Apple App Store and Google Play with over 18 million downloads and rated at 4.5-stars with 300,000 reviews. We're currently seeking a Junior Concept Artist with foundational art and Unity experience, and who cares about values centered on process, product, relationships, and people.
The Junior Concept Artist will have the following responsibilities:
- Craft environments, props, and user interfaces as detailed concepts that communicate and advocate designs to bring to a game-ready production level
- Create detailed concept art for technical 3D artists to reference and capture both imagination and accuracy
- Research and establish references based on creative direction that inspires original art
- Design storyboards that communicate the movement of visual effects and FX animations
- Produce marketing materials that highlight value propositions of our games
- Team up with game designers, UX/UI artists, and engineers in creating fun and scalable game mechanics
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts or design-related disciplines
- Strong command of art skills including drawing, painting and rendering, perspective, composition, color theory, and both 2D and 3D graphic design techniques.
- Expert proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator with emphasis on hand-drawn painting and image-making.
- Enthusiastic curiosity in problem solving
- Accurate time estimation/management and prioritization
- Appetite to impact products that touch millions of people
- Great communication and writing skills, and willingness to voice opinion
- Insist on the highest standards from one's self and team
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 years mobile video game experience with one or more published titles
- 1 years experience in Unity
- 3D modeling and sculpting skills
- Subject matter expertise in architecture, interior design, and magical realism
- Love of games, media, and entertainment
