What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Laborer position at Fun Outdoor Living?
Join our team at Fun Outdoor Living, a leading outdoor living provider, as a Construction Crew Member (laborer). We're looking for individuals who are committed to teamwork, dependability, and maintaining high standards in construction practices.
CONSTRUCTION
- Can you operate various tools and equipment, including: chainsaws, jackhammers, laser levels, measurement equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, etc.
- Mix, pour, and spread mortar or concrete.
- Assist in the construction of walkways, fences, decks, posts, etc.
- Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating, and cleaning on a daily basis.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required to complete landscape or construction projects.
- Transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, and hand lifting/carrying.
- Comply with all company policies and regulations
- Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations
REQUIREMENTS
- Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible
- Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools and equipment required to complete various construction practices
- Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record for minimum 3 years.
- Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, and materials
- Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold
- Be dependable, willing to work with a positive attitude and desire to excel!
