What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist position at FUNctinal Pediatric Therapy?
Our dedicated team is growing at FUNctional Pediatric Therapy as we growing in our community! We are looking for a passionate pediatric speech language pathologist to join us in providing exceptional services to our pediatric clients and their families.
This is a full-time position with flexible working days and hours. Our clinic is open Monday-Saturday 8:00 am-6:30 pm. Speech therapy services are provided in our brand new clinic located in Fox River Grove, client's home (Early Intervention), or day care. We are also open to hire a part-time employee, or a subcontractor hourly employee starting at $60 per 1099 hourly rate.

We provide speech therapy services to children with developmental delays, language delays, lake talkers, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Apraxia, speech sounds disorders, and more. We work collaboratively as a team and meet weekly to ensure best care for our clients.
Total Compensation:
- Annual Salary Starting at $68,500 (based on experience)
- Performance Bonus Eligibility: Earn up to $1,000 annually based on your success and contributions!

What you’ll Do:
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for children (birth to 12 years old)
- Set functional, client-specific goals to promote effective communication
- Complete detailed evaluations, treatment documentation, and progress notes
- Collaborate with families to support ongoing progress outside therapy
- Maintain a manageable caseload of 33 therapy sessions per week
Required Education, Experience and Credentials
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology
- Completion of your Clinical Fellowship Year
- SLP licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois
Salary : $68,500 - $78,500
