Job Overview:
As a DSP - Skills Instructor, you'll work closely with clients to identify their strengths and needs, and develop personalized plans to help them achieve their goals. You'll teach and empower individuals with disabilities to learn essential life skills, guide and support them in achieving their aspirations, and create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters growth and development.
Requirements:
• Compassionate and caring attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma/GED
• Background, OIG, and MVR Clearance required
• No prior experience necessary; all training provided
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
• Possession of a current Driver's License, car insurance, and a clean driving record (Preferred)
• CPR/First Aid Certificate (Preferred) will train
