In collaboration with Women in Fund Finance (WFF), the Fund Finance Association (FFA) is seeking an enthusiastic Senior Associate to help us plan, promote, and execute exciting events and programs that engage members in our Fund Finance Communities!
What You'll Do :
As a Senior Associate, Marketing & Events, you will be responsible for the direction and oversight in the planning, promotion, and execution of events and programs for Women in Fund Finance (WFF). As part of the Fund Finance Association (FFA) team, the Senior Associate, Marketing & Events, WFF is responsible for the entire event lifecycle from planning, promotion, budgeting, and execution – to event follow-up and reporting. You will work closely with the CMO, COO, and other members of the team to coordinate logistics, communications, and event marketing campaigns for WFF and the FFA ancillary groups including, but not limited to : NextGen and Diversity in Fund Finance.
Your Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee the planning and execution of Women in Fund Finance events, including but not limited to : regional events, marquee events, and webinars
- Provide support and lead WFF meetings, events, and other initiatives across regions, as assigned
- Aide the CMO and COO in leading, mentoring, and developing Marketing & Events team members
- Oversee and optimize internal processes and workflows to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness across regions, committees, and WFF / FFA team members
- Work with COO and Junior Associate, Finance in the creation of annual WFF budget
- Create, manage, and ensure adherence to individual event budgets
- Conduct research to identify potential sponsors and speakers for events
- Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, agenda creation, and onsite coordination and management
- Review, approve, and aide in the creation of marketing communications – including email campaigns, social media posts (LinkedIn), newsletters, and website updates
- Coordinate, edit, publish, and promote podcasts and newsletters
- Support the development of event marketing strategies to increase attendance and engagement
- Oversee event registration and attendee databases
- Create, maintain, and oversee individual WFF event pages within the FFA website, including linking to the WFF website, adding registration links, and other information as required
- Manage and oversee WFF awards and charitable fundraising processes
- Foster relationships with sponsors, committee members, and industry volunteers, while managing events for various regions across different time zones
- Create and oversee post-event follow-up, analysis, and reporting
- Support other marketing initiatives, as needed
- Other duties as assigned
