We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Wholesale Closing Disclosure Specialist to join our team. This role involves verifying data and documentation provided by brokers and preparing initial closing disclosures within a 24-hour timeframe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the mortgage industry, excellent knowledge of regulatory compliance, and proficiency in mortgage loan documentation and processing.

Key Responsibilities

Verify data and documentation provided by brokers to prepare initial closing disclosures within 24 hours.
Prioritize files using a "first in, first out" (FIFO) method and manage "rush" file requests.
Audit and review data entry in Encompass; identify and correct errors based on uploaded documents (e.g., title fees, sales / purchase contracts, invoices, taxes, and homeowners insurance).
Ensure all data complies with state and federal regulations.
Send initial closing disclosure drafts via secure email to borrowers and brokers.
Distribute initial disclosures to borrowers through Encompass e-sign, mail, or in-person execution.
Notify brokers once disclosures are sent to borrowers.
Prepare and issue any changes of circumstance closing disclosures as requested by the Account Management Team.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

2-3 years related experience or equivalent

Thorough knowledge of credit file documents, including the 1003 form, bank statements, and title documents, etc.

Must have experience issuing disclosures and knowledge of TRID, RESPA, ECOA, TILA, and HMDA

Proficiency in Encompass or similar loan origination systems is preferred.

Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.

Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages.

BANK SECRECY ACT REQUIREMENTS

Responsible for adhering to the reporting and recordkeeping requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering rules and regulations, observing economic sanctions by prohibiting transactions as specified by the Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC), following the bank's customer identification program (CIP) rules, observing all Bank policies and procedures relating to BSA, OFAC, CIP, and related acts, and participation in ongoing related training.
