The Asset Protection and Safety Supervisor will support leading of safety performance expectations, be an advocate for continuous improvement within the Safety culture while keeping the job fun and interesting in creative ways. This role will also be assisting in leading, coaching, and developing of the asset protection and safety culture within Facility. They will also assist in the research, auditing, planning, control operations, assist with reporting, metrics, and project implementation within the asset protection and safety functions of the Facility.

Shift
*Weekday (Mon-Thurs) Hours: Approximate 1pm-11pm*

What You’ll Do

• Supervise the safety culture by motivating associates within the facility.
• Manage performance expectations through metrics and reporting to develop operational improvements to optimize efficiency
• Organize, review, and analyze order information to identify patterns and areas for optimal operational efficiency for both asset protection and safety
• Work closely with operational team members, supervisors/management team, and cross functional support teams
• Work with cross functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Communicate company policies to team members and act as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance and consistency, and taking corrective action when needed
• Ensure performance goals, objectives, and expectations are achieved
• Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all operations team members
• Ensure procedures are followed for building security and product loss prevention.
• Support recognition and communication programs as required.
• Partner with the management team to establish and maintain safety and compliance standards
• Effectively train team members on current processes, following and adjusting Standard Operating Procedures, as needed
• Provide feedback to the operations team on performance and growth opportunities

 What You’ll Bring

• Three or more years of experience in a distribution center environment
• Two or more years of experience in a warehouse leadership role
• One or more years of experience in Safety/Compliance
• Motivated and creative thinker who can connect and engage around Safety
• Excellent Communication Skills (written and oral)
• Working experience in using a variety of complex programs and technical platforms
• Must be a positive, enthusiastic, results-oriented individual able to work collaboratively with smart, fun, and active team members.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
• Basic understanding of Lean methodologies and Six Sigma
• Flexibility to support a multi-shift operation
• Demonstrates a strong sense of urgency required to work in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrates responsibility, maturity, and collaboration across departments
• Initiative to work with minimal instruction or direction, be a “self-starter”
• High school diploma or GED preferred with consideration based on relevant work experience
