The Director of Finance - Investor Relations will serve as Funko’s in-house IR expert. This role will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s investor relations strategy, in collaboration with the CFO.
What You’ll Do
- Be Funko’s point person for investors and industry analysts
- Work internally across multiple functions (finance, accounting, legal, SEC reporting, PR) as well as with external IR partners to manage the quarterly earnings call process
- Draft CEO/CFO script, press release and lead earnings call Q&A preparation
- Leverage internal management reporting and Power BI dashboards for company results and key metrics; use external research for market dynamics and industry trends
- Develop earnings presentations as well as conference presentations
- Periodically attend investor conferences and roadshows
- Effectively summarize and communicate trends and key insights to the leadership team including analyst research summaries, buyer/seller news and peer earnings reports
- Outside of earnings cycles, support the FP&A and Treasury groups with financial modeling, financial presentations, and ad-hoc analyses.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree required, concentration in Finance or related business field preferred
- 5 years’ previous experience in a financial analysis role; plus minimum 2 years’ experience on an IR team
- Power-user in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with financial statement modeling and various types of financial analysis
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and strong business sense
- Manage and prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Critical attention to detail
- Needs to be a strong teammate, self-starter who approaches work enthusiastically and demonstrates initiative
Salary Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $150,000 - $200,000 annually.Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
