Duties:
- Provide flight instruction to students in accordance with Federal Regulations and Certification standards in a fun and safe environment.
- Conduct ground school, pre-flight, and post-flight briefings to ensure students have a thorough understanding of flight procedures, safety protocols, and lesson expectations.
- Demonstrate and teach students various flight maneuvers, including takeoffs, landings, and emergency procedures, airspace, and preperation for solo'es and checkrides with an FAA Desigated Pilot Examiner.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their aeronautical skills/knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records of student training and progress in accordance with applicable laws for flight instructors.
- Stay current with industry regulations and best practices in flight instruction.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Flight Instructor Certificate (CFI), Bonus for CFII and MEI.
- Possess a valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Instrument Rating (IR).
- Minimum of 250 hours of flight time, including 150 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively teach and interact with students.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to handle unexpected situations during flight training.
- Data analysis skills to assess student performance and identify areas for improvement.
