Seeking Heavy Equipment Operator
Funston Company is looking for a Skilled Operator with experience in operating heavy equipment or the willing to learn. Applicant must be a motivated individual willing to work in a team environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Preventative equipment maintenance such as greasing and maintaining fluid levels. Be knowledgeable of maintenance needs and notify equipment manager with any issues.
- Understand Safety and abide by MSHA Guidelines
- Show up prior to stated start time and be ready to go to work
Physical Demands (include but not limited to)
- Heavy lifting
- Standing
- Sitting
- Outdoor exposure
Requirements:
- Must be able to understand and communicate in English
- Work well in a group environment
- Communicate with supervisors, listen to and comprehend instructions
- Be able to read and understand plans and survey stakes
- High School Education a plus
- Valid Driver's License a plus
Pre -Employment Screening includes Criminal background check and drug test.
