JOB DESCRIPTION:
Summary
Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments and deliveries. Duties include receiving, light unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material. This role is also responsible for the restocking of all supplies for the warehouse and office.
Tasks
- Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.
- Record shipment data, such as weight, dimensions, charges, space availability, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
- Maintain and Control all inventory products inbound, outbound, and in storage
- Work in direct contact with product inspector to record damages and product photography.
- Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route products.
- Converse or correspond with client representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
- Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of products.
- Must be detailed oriented and organized.
- Must feel comfortable speaking to clients daily to obtain information.

- High school diploma.
Experience
- 1 year of experience in receiving preferred. Warehouse experience preferred.
