Duties
- Provide thorough bathing and grooming services for a variety of pets, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Brush, comb, and dry pets as needed, addressing any specific grooming requirements based on breed or individual needs.
- Maintain cleanliness in the bathing area, including washing towels, cleaning equipment, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Monitor pets during grooming sessions for any signs of distress or health issues, reporting concerns.
- Assist in handling pets safely and effectively during grooming sessions to ensure a stress-free experience for both the animal and the bather.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pet's grooming needs and any observations made during the bath.
- Keep accurate records of services performed on each pet to ensure continuity of care.
Skills
- Strong background in pet care or animal handling is essential; experience in pet grooming is highly desirable but not necessary.
- Knowledge of basic animal behavior and comfort with various breeds and sizes of pets.
