We are seeking a Kennel Attendant to join our team! You will be responsible for the overall care and well-being of the animals at our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Handle general care tasks such as feeding and watering the animals
- Assist in restraining animals for grooming management
- Keep records of animal feedings, treatments, and other updates
- Engage in play activities and exercise with the animals
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in animal care or other related fields (preferred)
- Passion to help and treat animals
- Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- 18 years
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Ability to work alone
- Reliable
- Weekends and holidays are required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Animal handling: 2 years (Required)
