Duties:
- - Provide clerical and administrative support to legal professionals
- Word processing of legal documents, such as briefs, contracts, and pleadings
- Manage document management systems and maintain organized files
- Perform proofreading and editing of documents for accuracy and clarity
- Collaborate with attorneys to ensure smooth workflow
- Greet people coming to the office and answer telephone calls
Experience:
- Previous experience as a legal secretary or in a similar administrative role within a law firm or legal department is preferred
- Proficiency in using WORD and other software
- Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures
