The Warehouse Floater role is a dynamic position that requires flexibility and adaptability. As a Warehouse Floater, you will have the opportunity to learn various job skills and operate different types of equipment in the warehouse operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adequately operate any of the warehouse equipment or job requirements in the warehouse operation, as determined by your supervisor.
- Maintain a clean work environment throughout your shift.
- Maintain a positive teamwork atmosphere by acting, communicating, and helping coworkers.
- Ensure food safety is maintained at all times, and report any issues to your supervisor or manager immediately.
Requirements:
- Be proficient on the job after completing the required hours of training, which includes operating a forklift and OSHA testing.
- Be able to retain job skills over long periods of time without operating specific equipment.
- Be able to read, write, and speak clearly in English.
This is a full-time position with an 8-hour shift, may require extended hours or overtime based on business needs. Weekend availability is required during peak seasons with specific mandatory Saturdays.
