The Design Studio Receptionist is the professional, friendly smile that greets each client as they enter our store. This position will be responsible for greeting customers as they enter and directing them to the appropriate team member. The Design Studio Receptionist will answer phones, help schedule deliveries, and assist with event planning and social media along with other daily office tasks. This person will also be responsible for assisting customers if all design consultants are busy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Include the following. Other duties may be assigned)
- Full-Time (40 hrs/wk)
- Greet clients as they enter the store.
- Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries.
- Represent the company positively.
- Be a positive teammate.
- Work a 40-hour week or as needed.
- Ensure the reception area and store are clean and tidy.
- Learn about various types of furniture and sales techniques; fill in as needed.
- Collaborate with the delivery team to schedule deliveries.
- Assist with social media and event planning.
- Provide support during scheduled events.
- Assist with moving furniture during floor sets.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in Customer Service preferred
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 75 lbs
- Basic computer knowledge: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Personable and able to work well with others
- Ability to interact with a variety of people inside and outside of the organization
- Ability to respond effectively in the moment (think quick)
