POSITION SUMMARY
**This is an on-site, in-person position. Candidates must be able to work from our Sioux Fall, SD office**
As the Lead Content Specialist, you will be responsible for strategizing, developing, and overseeing content across multiple divisions within the organization. You will collaborate with content writers, ensuring that all marketing content aligns with brand messaging, business objectives, and audience engagement goals. This role requires a strong mix of creativity, strategic thinking, and cross-functional coordination to enhance the company’s content marketing efforts across digital, print, and in-store channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Content Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that supports business goals across multiple divisions.
- Primary Content Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for all writers within the company, providing direction, feedback, and alignment with overall marketing strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, design, social media, and e-commerce teams to ensure content consistency and effectiveness.
- Multi-Channel Content Development: Oversee content creation for various platforms, including websites, email marketing, social media, digital ads, blogs, and print materials.
- Brand Voice & Consistency: Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and messaging across different brands within the organization.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze content performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve engagement, conversion, and brand awareness.
- Innovation & Trends: Stay ahead of industry trends and introduce innovative content ideas to enhance customer engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in content strategy, content marketing, or a similar role, preferably within retail, home furnishings, or lifestyle industries.
- Strong ability to guide and collaborate with multiple content creators.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different brands and audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
