Nola Throws is a Mardi Gras Superstore that is seeking a full-time, year round, Retail Sales Associate for our Gretna location. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will assist customers with their shopping needs and ensure an excellent shopping experience. The ideal candidate will have customer service experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet each customer with a smile, and provide assistance while they are shopping
- Enter sales into the POS system and balance daily transactions
- Take responsibility for stocking, inventory, and store maintenance.
- Fulfill online orders both for shipping and pick up
- Drive sales by participating in targeted marketing promotions and initiatives
- Develop and maintain product knowledge in order to best help customers with their selections.
- Assisting with special events
- Other tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
- Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service
- Willingness to work well in a team environment
- Ability to efficiently use new technology and train others
Salary : $28,000 - $37,700
