Job Overview:
The Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales and store teams, ensuring the achievement of revenue goals, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves overseeing sales strategies, training and mentoring sales associates, managing inventory, and maintaining store performance standards to ensure that the company’s objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and initiatives to drive store performance.
- Analyze sales trends and customer needs to adjust sales techniques and inventory selection.
- Ensure the store maintains a high level of customer satisfaction and resolves any customer concerns in a timely manner.
- Monitor sales floor activity to optimize customer engagement and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional events and campaigns.
- Ensure inventory levels are consistent with sales expectations and collaborate with the Stock Associate team to manage stock levels.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager, preferably in retail or furniture sales.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop sales strategies and analyze data to make informed decisions.
- Knowledge of furniture and home décor trends is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
