Furniture Medic is a leading Furniture and Cabinet Restoration Company serving both residential and commercial clients. We are growing rapidly and currently seeking full-time team members to join our dedicated team and servant leadership culture.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

This role is a full-time, on-site position. We work Tuesday through Friday with occasional overtime. Based on experience, the starting salary for this position is $15.00 – $17.00 per hour. This role provides opportunity for growth, development, and advancement while teaching relevant skills that you will carry for a lifetime.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Cleaning of cabinetry and furniture prior to finishing or touching up;

· Understanding of cleaning agents and abrasives including how to use;

· Surface preparation for wood surfaces that includes cleaning, sanding, lifting, and moving cabinetry and furniture;

· Learn fundamentals of stripping solid wood and veneered wood furniture surfaces;

· Disassemble and reassemble of cabinetry and furniture;

· Ensure jobsites are set up and have proper tools to complete projects;

· Proper set up of containment;

· Proper cleaning of shop and all equipment;

· Introduction to and working with hand tools;

· Responsible for company vehicles;

· Identification of the six primary woods.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Successfully pass a background check and drug screen

· Some experience preferred, but not necessary

· Must be able to professionally communicate with customers and team members

· Enjoy working in a team environment

· Be able to work within budgeted project timelines

· Must take pride in delivering and performing quality workmanship

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
