Position Responsibilities

  • Management of all field team members
  • P & L full responsibility
  • Maintain and develop relationships with field clients
  • Perform upholstery, leather and wood furniture repairs
  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets
  • Complete project costs analysis presentations for clients
  • Plan, coordinate and host team meetings
  • Research, craft and assemble all proposals and bids targeted to the customers' needs and requirements by collaborating with the administration and subject matter experts. Proposals and bids may include pricing, discounts, installation cost.
  • Track job costs with reporting to upper management, while maximizing workflow and minimizing raw material cost
  • Manage Furniture upholstery, wood and leather repair onsite services
  • Manages productivity, work flow, and associate/team performance through the following: daily coaching, monitoring, and feedback sessions; weekly and monthly performance reviews; quality team meetings; on-the-job training and collaborating with department sales training expert; work flow analysis and recommendations to management on process improvements
  • Monitors associate availability throughout the day to ensure proper coverage, evaluating peak periods and scheduling staffing accordingly to maintain service levels which meet department and company goals
  • Selects, trains, and develops team members
  • Conducts annual performance reviews, makes recommendations for salary adjustment, promotions and transfers and, when necessary, performs counseling sessions and/or appropriate disciplinary actions
  • Collaborate with internal support team and external vendor to accurately identify product pricing, detailed specification, and estimate in all aspects of costs of good sold.
  • Facilitate new account and new vendor set-up and implementation.
  • Ensure proper and thorough communications with sales team, other associates, and customers.
  • Serve as the contact point or liaison between Furniture Pros Coordinator and field technicians to perform any management duty
  • Handle all field project management, to include proper expense reporting, job documentation, scheduling, and any other need that arises with project management.
  • Generate and update reports to ensure accurate and timely information is available for the Administration and customers. Reports may include customer status, backlog status, sales performance goals, job tracking, and follow up, and activity reports.
  • Driven to exceed sales goals and performance standards
  • Prepare presentations to large groups on Sales/Marketing of our products.
  • Conduct in-service training to new accounts of sales and product knowledge.

  • High school diploma
  • Bachelors degree preferred in Business Management/Marketing or MBA preferred
  • 5 years experience in Furniture Manufacturing or REPAIR required
  • 5 years experience in sales with proven results
  • Management experience
  • MUST BE Mechanically inclined as you will train the technicians
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, and Office suite
  • Must have the ability to effectively prioritize and organize multiple activities, tasks, requests from multiple internal and external customers
  • Background in upholstery or furniture production related field
  • Ability to take action or complete tasks without prompting and effectively communicate the results or actions taken to internal or external customers in a timely manner
  • Must be able to maintain focus and constructive relationships when faced with difficult internal and external customers and under time constraints
  • Must remain flexible and open to change due to changing internal processes, multiple projects, and varying customer demands while preventing issues/distractions from interfering with work deadlines or deliverables
  • Work requires travel to current and potential clients, This requires transportation and valid NC License and clean background
  • Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and constantly providing a positive image of the company to our clients.
  • Must be able to lift 100 lbs
  • Team member will begin work with a 90 probationary period in which you can be terminated for any reason or no reason. At then end of your 90 day period they will be given an evaluation based on prior performance.

Pay: $42,781.29 - $60,521.56 per year
