What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate/Delivery position at Furniture World Inc?
We are seeking an experienced warehouse worker to join our team. Must have box truck driving experience. Will need organizational and communication skills. Good driving record.
Responsibilities
- Deliveries with co-worker, shared drive time
Receiving and processing incoming product, completing all necessary paperwork, confirming all items have been received
- Preparing and loading items into delivery truck against packing lists for accuracy
- Sorting, stacking, and storing inventory in the proper location
- Maintaining the workspace: Keeping workspace free of debris and maintain safety
- Communicating with staff members and clients
- Assembly of items and restocking retail floor
-Working in warehouse completing assigned tasks independently
`Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Ability to life heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading cargo for long periods of time
- Ability to work as a team member with minimal supervision
-Assembly of product for both delivery and sales floor
-Five day work week schedule will include weekends
-Follow assigned task in a timely manner
Preferred skills:
- Experience with order picking, stock management, and warehouse operations

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 42 per week
