FurnitureR is a global furniture company with multiple overseas warehouses worldwide. We are expanding our operations and establishing a new warehouse near Charleston Port, in Manning, South Carolina.
Position: Warehouse Manager
Location: Near Charleston Port, Manning, South Carolina
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient inbound and outbound shipments.
- Supervise and organize container unloading, inventory management, and cargo loading.
- Coordinate transportation and shipping, optimizing logistics processes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Conduct inventory control and regular stock checks to maintain accuracy.
- Lead and manage warehouse staff, optimizing workforce allocation and improving efficiency.
- Evaluate and implement process improvements to enhance overall operational performance.
Requirements:
- Experience in warehouse management, familiar with logistics and storage processes; experience in the furniture industry is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related office software.
- Problem-solving skills, able to work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with different departments.
- Valid work authorization and ability to maintain long-term employment.
