Overview:
We are seeking reliable and passionate Pet Sitters / Dog Walkers to join our team.
As a Pet Sitter / Dog Walker, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of pets and provide them with the exercise and care they need. This is a great opportunity for individuals who love animals and enjoy spending time outdoors.
Availability
Mon-Fri 10-3pm part time

Other positions available for Part Time Pet Sitters are Evening and weekend Pet Sitter or AM & PM Pet Sitter:
For part time pet sitting requires availability to take on sitting assignments on a per client basis. Requires availability during at least 2 of our 4 time frames. Seeking individuals who could do these times during any day of week/weekend as needed (mornings 7-10am, afternoons 11-3pm, evenings 4-6pm and/or nights 7-9p). The more availability the more opportunities available.
Responsibilities:
-Travel from client to client within a 10min/10mile radius
- Walk dogs on a regular basis, ensuring they get the exercise they need
- Reinforce basic obedience training during walks
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs in your care
- Clean up after dogs during walks
- Monitor dogs for any signs of distress or illness and report any concerns to the client/company
-Care for cats and other pets as instructed including but not limited to feeding, medication, providing fresh water, scooping litter box, attention and exercise, cleaning up after pets, etc…
- Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding their pet's care
- Maintain accurate records of visits, including time spent and any notable observations via our easy to use client management system
Experience:
- Previous experience working with animals, such as in a kennel, pet sitting, or veterinary setting or other animal setting is preferred
- Knowledge of pet care and/or dog walking tools training techniques is a plus
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with pet owners
Requirements:
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Must have a genuine love for animals and a desire to provide them with the best care possible
- Physical stamina to walk for extended periods of time and handle dogs of various sizes
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to specific guidelines provided by pet owners
Compensation:
$15-$17 per hour or per visit rate. Plus Mileage reimbursement Tips
*With all of the above combined it averages out to around $20/hour
