- Drive our mobile grooming vans to scheduled appointments in the Waco/Central Texas area.
- Provide professional grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling according to customer preferences and breed standards.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of pets throughout the grooming process by employing gentle handling techniques and positive reinforcement.
- Conduct thorough assessments of each pet's coat condition, skin health, and overall well-being, and communicate any concerns to the pet owners.
- Educate pet owners on proper grooming techniques and recommend appropriate grooming products for home care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming van, ensuring all grooming equipment and supplies are sanitized and well-maintained.
- Schedule and manage appointments, ensuring timely arrivals and efficient use of time to maximize productivity.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, addressing concerns, and always maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
Job Qualifications
- Education: Training through state-approved program or equivalent training under experienced groomer
- Experience: MUST HAVE at least 1 year of PROFESSIONAL experience
- Proven experience as a professional pet groomer, with a deep understanding of various grooming techniques, breed-specific cuts, and coat types.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record, with the ability to drive a grooming van safely and efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet appointment schedules.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours based on customer demand.

Responsibilities
- Performs animal grooming duties such as washing, brushing, clipping, and trimming coats, cutting nails, and cleaning ears.
- Follows breed standards and owner's instructions for clipping and trimming coats.
- Answers telephones and schedule appointments.
- Ensures vaccinations are up to date.
- Discusses with clients their pets' grooming needs.
- Cleans, organizes, maintains, and disinfects animal quarters.
- Orders and stores supplies.
