Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Automotive Accounting Administrator to join our accounting team. This role supports the dealership’s sales and finance operations by handling deal processing, title work, rebate tracking, and other key accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in automotive accounting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform general accounting tasks and maintain accurate schedules and records

Process vehicle sales deals, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant

Review and submit contracts for funding, track progress, and follow up on missing documents

Prepare and process titles, tax and registration paperwork in accordance with state and dealership requirements

Reconcile and track manufacturer rebates, warranty payments, and incentives
-
Enter vehicle purchases into inventory; process wholesale, retail, lease, and internal vehicle deals

Handle lease buyouts, vehicle flips, and new/retired rental vehicle accounting

Ensure accurate billing of deals, including trade-ins, service contracts, and aftermarket items

Maintain and organize sales deal jackets, title files, and related documentation

Provide general administrative support including filing, records maintenance, and assisting with dealer trades or auction purchases

Collaborate with team members and departments to support smooth day-to-day operations
Qualifications:

1–3 years of experience in automotive accounting, title processing, or dealership administration preferred

Proficiency in dealership management systems (e.g. CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, or similar)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently and accurately

Familiarity with DMV regulations and title processing is a plus

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
