What You’ll Be Doing
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team that delivers results.
- Ensure a structured sales process and follow-up system to maximize repeat and referral business.
- Enforce dealership policies, sales procedures, and best practices.
- Manage new and used vehicle operations, with a sharp understanding of both.
- Plan and execute strategic advertising and sales promotions (digital, print, radio, events, etc.).
- Implement ongoing training programs to keep the team sharp and up to date.
- Represent the dealership at major industry events (Auto Show, State Fair, etc.).
- Review and approve deals, ensuring accuracy, profitability, and compliance.
- Address customer concerns with a proactive, customer-first mindset.
- Analyze market conditions and sales trends, making data-driven recommendations to maximize profitability.
- Audit and evaluate trade-in appraisals to ensure competitive offers.
- Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming showroom.
- Engage with customers on the lot and in the showroom, fostering long-term relationships.
- Drive repeat business and referrals by delivering an exceptional customer experience.
What We’re Looking For
- Energetic, competitive, and customer-driven leader with a winning mentality.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Tech-savvy with strong CRM and sales system experience.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local automotive sales laws.
- Proven leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire a team.
- 5 years of automotive sales experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
