Jet Ski Tour Guide

Fury Water Adventures is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Jet Ski Tour Guide. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to lead guided Jet Ski tours and oversee the Jet Ski portion of the Fury Ultimate Adventure.

As a Jet Ski Tour Guide, the ideal candidate will thrive in an outdoor environment, particularly in and around the water. They will prioritize safety, demonstrate reliability, maintain a positive attitude, possess excellent communication skills, and work well as part of a team. Furthermore, the candidate should have the ability to engage and excite customers about the historical landmarks in Key West.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct guided Jet Ski tours, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of guests.
• Oversee the Jet Ski portion of the Fury Ultimate Adventure, providing guidance and assistance to participants.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety protocols, ensuring that all guests are properly briefed and equipped with safety gear.
• Foster a friendly and engaging atmosphere, delivering exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests.
• Share interesting historical facts and information about the landmarks in Key West, enhancing the educational aspect of the tour.
• Operate and maintain Jet Skis and associated equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition and reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• A passion for working outdoors, particularly in and around the water, as well as a enthusiasm for learning the Key West waterways.
• A strong commitment to safety, with a safety-minded approach in all aspects of the role.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and public speaking abilities to engage and excite guests about the historical landmarks in Key West.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team, cooperating and assisting colleagues as needed.
• Self-motivation and drive to provide a safe, fun, and memorable experience for our guests.
• The understanding that Jet Ski Tour Guides are incentivized by tips from guests, thus valuing the importance of customer satisfaction.

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour plus tips, photo sales, and wetsuits (avg $14-$35 hourly depending on season).
