This is a FT Direct Hire position offering a competitive salary and benefits package. Primary ResponsibilitiesActively manage a broad range of projects led by outside contractors with a focus on statewide and local stakeholder outreach around ESBsParticipate in stakeholder discussions and speak at conferences with school districts, school bus fleets, the school bus industry, and other stakeholders regarding NYSERDA’s ESB effortsCultivate and maintain strategic relationships with ESB market stakeholders including industry participants, local community-based groups, and school districtsActively manage projects with engineering firms developing individualized fleet electrification plans for school bus fleets, as neededIdentify and pursue opportunities for program improvement, including ways NYSERDA can better address equity in transportationAbility to perform all managerial and supervisory responsibilities with demonstrated experience fostering respect, diversity, equity and inclusion across the workforce.Minimum QualificationsSenior Project Manager- Minimum experience of Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience Project Manager- Minimum experience of Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience Demonstrates record of success managing projects, preferably in the clean transportation or clean energy spaceFamiliarity with transportation electrification subject matter, with a preference for a moderate technical understanding of EVs and / or electric utility operations and a passion for issues related to clean transportation and equityDemonstrates experience supervising contractors and interacting with senior leadership in one’s own organization and in other organizationsDemonstrated ability to independently and simultaneously manage a broad portfolio of projects, including setting workplans, managing budgets, and overseeing internal and consultant work productsPreferred QualificationsExperience working with a broad spectrum of both public and private sector stakeholdersProficiency with MS Office Suite required; familiarity with Salesforce preferredProject Manager : Preferred : Master’s / Advanced degree and 6 years of relevant experienceProject Manager : Preferred : Master’s / Advanced degree and 4 years of relevant experience Salary$76- $141k Fusco Personnel takes great pride in successfully matching talent and culture for our valued clients.
