We’re looking for a Project Controls Analyst to bring cost and schedule visibility across MS Project, JIRA, ERP systems, and Microsoft Dynamics. You'll work closely with program managers, finance teams, and engineers to ensure accurate project tracking, proactive risk management, and data-driven decision-making.
- Manage project schedules – Develop, update, and maintain timelines in MS Project, ensuring alignment with program goals.
- Track costs & budgets – Use ERP tools to ensure accurate project charging and financial forecasting.
- Integrate Agile & financial data – Analyze JIRA sprints to assess tech debt, backlog impacts, and their effect on cost and scheduling.
- Perform critical path analysis – Identify scheduling risks early and collaborate with teams to mitigate delays.
- Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) – Build WBS based on input from Project Managers to effectively track scope and progress.
- Collaborate with stakeholders – Work with program managers, finance teams, and engineers to ensure accurate data and informed decision-making.
- 7-12 years of experience in scheduling and cost tracking, specifically using MS Project for DoD contracts.
- Familiarity with ERP systems for project charging and financial tracking.
- Experience with JIRA to analyze sprint progress and tech debt.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Analytical mindset to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics for financial tracking.
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification or PMP
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies and how they impact cost and schedule.
- Familiarity with DoD Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000
