What are the responsibilities and job description for the Research Analyst position at FUSE Research Network?
Our growing firm seeks a Research Analyst. The role is an important part of the research and consulting support that FUSE provides to our asset manager clients, contributing to recurring reports and bespoke research assignments. Sometimes the work involves supporting a particular senior employee and their clients’ requests, and sometimes it involves coordinating with fellow analysts to produce regular reports and support client requests across the firm.
The ideal Research Analyst combines intellectual curiosity, aptitude with data, and a desire for a flexible mix of duties; for example, in a given week the research analyst might pull specific information about mutual funds from our database and format it for a client, collect information from SEC filings, research third-party reports about a topic for a client, summarize recent industry news stories in a few bullet points, and turn FUSE survey findings in a short PowerPoint deck. Successful candidates will have an interest in financial reporting, business operations, and client service with a desire to learn more about the asset management industry in general.
