Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and other relevant accounting standards.
- Manage the financial reporting process, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies to facilitate financial audits and ensure compliance.
- Develop and maintain financial reporting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with accounting, finance, and other business teams to streamline reporting processes.
- Monitor and interpret changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary updates.
- Support special projects, such as system implementations, process improvements, and financial forecasting initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification preferred).
- 3 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or auditing.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and financial reporting regulations.
- Proficiency in financial reporting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team.
- $100 - $125k depending on education and experience plus bonus potential.
