Implement and participate in company Safety Health & Environmental policies, processes, procedures, and training.

The Safety Health & Environmental Contractor is responsible for providing support to the Safety Health & Environmental Manager with the implementation and coordination of programs and projects related to Safety Health & Environment. Implement and participate in company Safety Health & Environmental policies, processes, procedures, and training.
Primary Responsibilities
- Chemical reviews and support system migration
- Hazard evaluations and risk assessments for job tasks and equipment
- Support document management system migration
- Machine guarding assessments
- Safety training content updates and content development
- Provide key support to other Safety Health & Environmental systems as directed
- Chemical SDS’s backlog
- HIC/HRAW Reviews and Updates
- Cority migration
- Zero Access machine guarding assessments
- Training content development
- Other tasks
- Approximately 70% on-site, approximately 30% remote
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Safety Management or other related field
- 2 to 5 years' experience in successfully implementing Safety, Health, and Environmental activities in a manufacturing setting or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- General knowledge of plant operations including production, maintenance, and warehouse
- Understand the safe operation and environmental impacts of equipment and processes
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are required along with the ability to be able to communicate with audiences that have a broad range of background and understanding
- Ability to organize and prioritize
- Up to $43.50 per hour Overtime
