Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team as a MEP Technical Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the installation of UPS and switchgear at customer sites. You will work closely with electrical sub-contractors and answer questions from customers.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate site arrival, rigging, and placement of equipment
- Work with commissioning authority or owner-designated representative to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Document corrective actions and proof of completion in Procore/Compass
- Assist with yellow tag inspections and project planning
- Review contract documents, including drawings, submittals, and equipment lists to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Facilitate communication among project stakeholders and attend centralized platform discussions and issue resolution
- Verify systems meet project requirements through quality assurance processes
- Manage project schedule and coordinate with all business units and scheduler
- Act as single point of contact for project status and maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
- 2 years of trade school, college, or journeyman experience in construction, preferably electrical
- Adept at reading blueprints and associated building information, submittals/specs/one-line
- Proficient in Adobe and editing PDFs
- Understanding of ATS, UPS, and switchgear functionality
