Fusion HCR is hiring! Senior Business Analyst, contract, hybrid, in Las Vegas NV.
Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst with project management experience to lead and support the implementation and optimization of our POS system. The ideal candidate will be adept at analyzing business processes, managing project timelines and budgets, and liaising between stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of POS solutions. This role requires a proactive individual capable of navigating vendor relationships.
Business Analysis :
Conduct comprehensive analyses of current business processes related to POS operations to identify areas for improvement.
Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Develop and present detailed reports and recommendations to senior management.
Project Management :
Oversee the POS project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
Manage project scope, timelines, and budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to schedules.
Develop and maintain project plans, issue logs, and task lists, ensuring all project documentation is up-to-date.
Coordinate and lead project meetings, providing clear communication to stakeholders and team members.
Vendor Management :
Serve as the primary liaison between our client and the vendor, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
Monitor vendor performance, addressing any discrepancies between promised deliverables and actual outcomes.
Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, ensuring terms are met and value is delivered.
Stakeholder Collaboration :
Work closely with internal departments, including IT, Finance, and Operations, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of the POS system.
Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that system implementations meet business requirements.
Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring a smooth transition to new systems and processes.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis
Proven experience managing POS system implementations
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and vendor relationships.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
