Job Description

- Develops, oversees and provides input into the execution of the strategic plan for F&B concepts consistent with the strategic vision of Fusion Hospitality.
- Ensure guests are receiving prompt, efficient and courteous service. Monitors and analyzes levels of guest satisfaction, with the goal to exceed guest satisfaction and to maximize return guests.
- Establish and maintain service standards, lead the team, motivate associates, coach, counsel, discipline, set goals and follow up, monitor attendance and enforce policies, participate in selection of staff, conduct performance evaluations, identify problems and develop solutions.
- Develop, oversee and conduct trainings including job knowledge, product knowledge and service standard trainings.
- Attend and assist with department meetings, daily briefings, and provide feedback to management.
- Monitor and control productivity, cost containment, prepare accurate monthly forecast of covers, revenues and expenses. Prepare budgets for operating equipment and maintenance.
- Monitor grooming and appearance standards of F&B associates.
- Directs and manage compliance with company policies, collective bargaining agreements and legal requirements (i.e. Alcoholic Beverage Commission, ServSafe, etc.).
- Monitor and improve food quality and minimize waste.
- Have a thorough knowledge of the market in terms of competing hotels and restaurants, their pricing structures and strategies and participate strategizing accordingly.
- Compile new menus, dishes and beverage lists.
- Able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
- Able to think clearly, remain calm and solve problems under pressure using good judgement.
- Able to manage by example, teach and be responsible for the actions of others.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and endure various physical movements throughout the day.
- Attend monthly department meetings and training sessions as necessary.
- Anything that contributes to a positive culture and the success of the hotel.
