Position Overview
Fusion Innovation is seeking an Application Developer to join our team to support the enhancement, O&M, and compliance of existing applications hosted in an AWS environment. This position requires a broad knowledge of system administration, knowledge of automation technologies, and scripting. This position also requires a knowledge of security and accreditation practices and procedures the ability to work with several enterprise resources and teams in the operation of an enterprise digitization infrastructure.
Required Skills
- Active Top Secret / SCI with Polygraph.
- Must have hands-on experience with AWS and Linux in a production environment.
- Experience patching and maintaining system's databases, to include RDS, MySQL, and Oracle
- Proven experience troubleshooting and solving technical problems
- Knowledge of Federated Identity, authentication & authorization solutions.
- Understanding of secure-cloud configuration, (e.g., CloudTrail, AWS Config), cloud-security technologies (e.g., VPC, Security Groups) and Access Control (IAM).
- Experience with configuration management (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Experience with security, such as NGFW, WAF, SIEM, endpoint security.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment
- Bachelor's Degree in IT related field or equivalency in related work experience
- Demonstrated on-the-job experience working and solving technical problems independently as a system administrator.
- Experience using a scripting language.
- Demonstrated ability to monitor and troubleshoot enterprise workflow applications, to include : installing, starting, and stopping background processes, analyzing log and event files, and patching and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated ability creating and managing a virtual infrastructure, such as AWS, Azure, Hyper-V, or VMWare.
- BS / BA in Software Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or similar and 8 years experience OR program equivalent combination of education and experience to reach 11 years
