Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in CATIA V5 / V6 , NC programming, and aerospace manufacturing processes. The position involves analyzing and interpreting engineering documentation, developing CAM programs, and supporting manufacturing operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze and interpret engineering drawings , 3D models, BOMs, technical specifications, and quality documents to perform assigned tasks.
- Create and maintain MCAD operational models and 2D drawings for manufacturing process planning.
- Develop and maintain tooling and fixture definitions for manufacturing, utilizing both MCAD and manual legacy designs.
- Generate CAM programs and operator instructions for numerical controlled (NC) equipment
- Develop loft MCAD models, flat patterns, and associated digital tooling programs.
- Provide process liaison support for manufacturing operations when required.
- Ensure the application of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and aerospace tolerances
- Support producibility assessments and maintain work records and schedules.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams, suppliers, and procurement to resolve technical challenges.
- Train, mentor, and validate the work of production engineering teams as necessary.
- Stay updated with technological advancements through training and competency-based testing.
