Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing-Cardio is seeking a skilled travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13 week contract in Gloucester, VA.
The ideal candidate will have one year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and hold a valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
- Assess, treat, and manage patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans.
- Treat patients through various methods including chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications.
- Educate patients and/or family members on how to properly take medication and use equipment.
The ability to read, write, & communicate in the English language is required. Physical Abilities - Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending. Technical/Motor Skills - Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling and able to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment. Sensory - Visual acuity, ability to effectively communicate.
