Job Summary:
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Home Health for a travel nursing job in Hayward, California. This is a 13 week assignment working 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM shifts.
Job Description:
As a Travel Nurse RN Home Health with Fusion Medical Staffing, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of patients in their homes. You will be responsible for providing medical care and support to patients with diverse needs and conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Completes nursing assessment of patients and documents appropriately into patient record.
- Communicates and collaborates with physicians and other health team members.
- Provides and coordinates patient care with other health team members.
- Monitors patients' responses to interventions and reports outcomes.
- Administers medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
- Medical care provided in the privacy of the patient's home
- Requires driving to multiple patient's homes daily
- Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- One years experience as a RN, at least 6 months recent Home Health experience required
- Current RN License
- Current BLS Certification
- Must have a valid, unrestricted drivers license
- Must have valid auto insurance
- Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
- Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
- Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending
