Travel Medical Lab Technician Job
We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in Wailuku, Hawaii.
Job Summary:
- 8-hour shifts with flexibility to work any schedule
- Recent generalist experience required in a hospital setting
Responsibilities:
- Perform chemical, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and/or bacteriological diagnostic analyses on body fluids and other specimens
- Confirm accuracy of test results and report laboratory findings to pathologists and physicians
- Operate complex electronic equipment, computers, and precision instruments
- Follow hospital safety rules and procedures
Requirements:
- One to three years' experience as an MLT preferred
- Ability to remain in a stationary position, move about, and lift equipment (50-100lbs)
- Sensory requirements include visual acuity and effective communication
