Job Summary:
Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a skilled travel nurse to fill a 13-week medical-surgical registered nurse position in Quincy, California. As a medical traveler with Fusion, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while exploring new locations.
About the Role:
This medical-surgical position requires a registered nurse with strong communication and collaboration skills to work closely with physicians and other healthcare team members. You will be responsible for providing and coordinating patient care, monitoring and evaluating patients before, during, and post-procedure, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and utilizing department equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members
- Monitor and evaluates patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit
- Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
- Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members
- Push, pull, bend, move equipment (50-100lbs)
Requirements:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling and able to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally as well as working without assistance from other personnel
- Visual acuity, ability to effectively communicate
