Job Title: ICU Travel Nurse
Job Summary:
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a travel nursing assignment in Ellsworth, Maine. This 13-week position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit while enjoying the flexibility of travel nursing.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Current RN license in the state of Maine.
- One to three years of experience as an ICU Registered Nurse.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
- Physical abilities include remaining in a stationary position, moving about, and lifting equipment (50-100lbs).
