Job Description
The Computed Tomography Radiation Technologist will be responsible for operating CT scanners, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. This is a 13-week contract opportunity with a reputable healthcare facility.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients
- Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining instructions and positioning them correctly
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, including disposing of waste and restocking supplies
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care
Requirements
- Current certification as a Computed Tomography Technologist
- Experience working with CT scanners and providing patient care
- Ability to lift 50-100 pounds and move about during procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
