Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Silver Spring, MD. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities: This role requires a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with a variety of personnel, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff. Your responsibilities will include communicating and collaborating with healthcare teams, providing and coordinating patient care, administering medications as ordered, and monitoring patients' responses to interventions.
Requirements: To succeed in this role, you should have:
- One to three years of experience as a Physical Therapist preferred;
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills;
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions;
- Technical/Motor Skills - Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling and able to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment;
- Mental Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public, customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure.
