As a case manager registered nurse, you will play a critical role in coordinating patient care, administering medications, and monitoring patients' responses to interventions. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure that patients receive high-quality care and attention.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as a case manager registered nurse will include:
- Coordinating patient care with physicians and other healthcare team members
- Administering medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
- Monitoring patients' responses to interventions and reporting outcomes
- Maintaining cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
- Transporting patients as needed
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have one to three years of experience as a registered nurse, critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills. You should also be able to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and possess PC skills. Additionally, you should have valid RN licensure in the state where you will be practicing, BLS certification, and Case Management Certification (RN-BC) is preferred.
