The Position
We are seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a 1-week travel assignment in a hospital setting. Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory interventions and support for patients with acute respiratory problems
- Implement and adjust patient treatment plans under the guidance of physicians or RRTs
- Conduct diagnostic tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples
- Administer respiratory treatments, including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy
Requirements:
- One year of recent experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Requirements:
- ACLS or PALS Certification (AHA/ARC)
