Key Responsibilities: As a Travel CT Technologist with Fusion Medical Staffing, you will be responsible for:
• Operating computerized tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes
• Preparing patients for procedures, positioning patients safely and accurately, setting technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology, and providing excellent patient care throughout the imaging process
• Maintaining equipment, keeping patient records, and following safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure and provide compassionate care to patients
• Collaborating with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services
• Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment to ensure proper functionality
• Documenting patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital's system
Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must have one year of recent experience as a CT Technologist, a valid Radiology license, and current BLS certification. Additionally, preferred qualifications include current ARRT Certification and other certifications and licenses required for this position. You must also possess critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills, as well as the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
