About the Position
\This is a unique opportunity to work as a Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse in a reputable facility in Somerville, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a valid RN license in the state where they will be practicing, BLS certification, and Cardiovascular Nursing Certification (RN-BC) is preferred.
\Responsibilities
\- \
- Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members \
- Monitor and evaluates patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit \
- Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies \
- Technical/Motor Skills - Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling and able to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment \
- Sensory - Visual acuity, ability to effectively communicate \
Requirements
\- \
- Cardiac cath lab nursing experience is necessary \
- Valid RN license in the state where they will be practicing \
- BLS certification \
- Cardiovascular Nursing Certification (RN-BC) is preferred \
- Able to work under close supervision occasionally as well as working without assistance from other personnel \
- Visual acuity, ability to effectively communicate \
- Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling and able to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment \
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending \
